New Harvest Christian Fellowship of ..... Montebello
Meet Our Pastors
Pastor's Clem and Maria Casas, are presently in New Harvest Christian Fellowship of Montebello where they believe God has planted them. A good thing after many years of moving. Attempting to live a lifestyle of obedience. Pioneering and doing what God asked of them. He has brought them to the city of Montebello where their vision for God's people is blossoming!
These past 6 yrs, God has opened new doors of opportunity to minister JESUS to hurting souls! Along with the Montebello congregation they are working to see God's will accomplished in the lives of the precious people with whom they come in contact. Their one focus is to introduce people to the God that cares, and is able to give us victory in any and every situation.
They previously lived and pioneered a church in East san Diego for 6 1/2 years, But have also been privileged to Pastor other New Harvest churches in California. In The cities of Placentia, Pasadena and Montebello.
In 1992, along with their children, they went into the country of Russia to live there and pioneer a church. They remained there approximately 2 years. They also went to the Country of Estonia, but for reasons beyond their control, were not allowed to stay.
As a couple, They've helped Pioneering Missionaries in Puerto Rico, England, Guadalajara, Guam, The Philippines, Chile and Honduras. Ministering over seas has enlarged their vision and their faith in God's great love for mankind, and his ability and willingness to save, change and restore people's lives.
Pastor Clem was saved in 1981 after completing 4 years in the Marines. Living a life of parties and violence, searching for peace and true joy. God answered his mother's prayers as he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and was radically saved. He decided to Give the same loyalty and commitment to Jesus Christ as he had The Marines, and has never looked back.
Maria was saved in January of 1979, But before giving her life to Jesus, had also lived a very troubled life. At the age of 15 she almost lost her life in a suicide attempt. Broken, angry and very disillusioned with life, she searched for 2 more years breaking her mother's heart with the self-destructive life she led. Still in high school & tired of the emptiness in going out, drinking, getting high and partying, she gave her life to Jesus at the age of 17. She experienced a true overnight miracle of deliverance.
Pastor Clem and sister Maria met and married in church. After 7 yrs. they went out to Orange County to pioneer their first church.
They have 3 daughters, The Eldest, Andrea, married to a wonderful man, Robert and have been Blessed with their first grandson Tyler.
The other 2 adult daughters, Alena, Adelle are a blessing as well, and have faithfully worked along side them. They also have a son, Josh age 15. God has been gracious to them and blessed both their home and ministry. They labor with the desire to see him do the same for "as many as would receive him". Praise God.
